The Edinburgh rain, a near-constant drizzle at this point, plastered Leo's hair to his forehead as he stood across the street from "Galleries of Distinction," a bastion of upper-crust art and conspicuous wealth on George Street. He tugged at the collar of his thrift-store trench coat, feeling acutely out of place. The polished brass door handles, the hushed tones emanating from within, the sheer air of exclusivity, were all a world away from the chipped Formica tables of the pool hall he’d been frequenting.
